2002 Workplace Award Winners

Six Hawai'i Organizations Honored in 2002

Six Hawaii organizations were honored with "Healthy Workplace" awards by the Hawaii Psychological Association on October 31, 2002. These awards recognize and promote excellence and "best practices" in the five areas of Health, Safety and Security; Employee Career Development; Family Support; Community Support; and Corporate Citizenship.

With over 60% of workplace absences related to psychological problems and over 90% of all accidents caused by personal and stress-related problems, a healthy workplace is everybody’s business. Here are six organizations doing the right things in Hawaii for their people, and doing them very well.
