Waikiki Health Center keeps it’s workplace healthy through an employee wellness team, ergonomics program, safety committee, disaster planning committee, ukulele group, health fair, injury prevention committee, continuing education, salsa committee, and the employee activities committee.

There is a heavily used employee suggestion box placed in each health center building and the agency has an open door policy where employees are encouraged to approach supervisors with any suggestions or concerns.

A Wellness Program offers employees an extra one hundred dollars if they engaged in one of three programs (exercise/stress management, smoking cessation, or nutrition counseling). 
Flexible work schedules accommodate family needs.
