Becca and I expanded and renovated the previous office of the HPU counseling center.  We now have a newly decorated downtown four-office therapy space which opened January 2020, just two months before the pandemic lockdowns began. 

Location:  1164 Bishop St.  The Finance Factors Building (Class A office space)

Here the rundown:

• Renovated with acute attention to adding special sound proofing materials (something most (non-hospital) office buildings lack).  

• • The building recently upgraded and renovated the restrooms and our floor common areas.

  • Little used since the pandemic.

• • With comfortable therapists’ chair: IKEA Poang or Ekornes Stressless (for all those hours of sitting, yay)

• Spectrum Business class internet speeds with Mesh network WiFi to ensure smooth telehealth connections.

• Wi-fi, refridge, microwave, wireless printer, copier.

  • Best window facing side in the building (in our opinion).

  • Affordable municipal parking lot (with ample spaces) across the street–a five minute walk.

• Cost $190/month for one day of the week.  $900/month for exclusive use of one office.
