Communications Pacific, a former Healthy Work Place awards winner, is at it again. They continue to grow and improve in their healthy workplace practices

With a 40 year history, they strive to create a positive workplace environment while being continually successful in their field of advertising, marketing and public relations.

  • The keys to their success is taking employee involvement very seriously and in creating a feeling of family among all the employees.

  • There is on-site exercise equipment to allow employees to workout and burn off their stress. They even host fitness competitions with prizes awards and recognition.

  • Staff meetings feature healthy foods and wellness baskets complete with lotions, flowers and stress balls.

  • At the suggestion of an employee, they have gone green with eco friendly copiers, low energy lights and recycling programs.

  • Recognizing the stress of the economic environment, they bring in financial advisors to help employees weather the current economic difficulties

  • To combat the flu, at an employee’s suggestion, they established a flu station, where individuals are given information about flu shots and are given immunity-building aids, such as zinc tablets and vitamin C.

  • Work schedules are flexible, and remote work is possible.

  • When personal crises arise, the company takes the role of family.

  • Special summer schedule program, where employees can take half-days off for five Fridays to give them extra time with their families.

  • Employees are constantly encouraged to develop their leadership skills and toward this, there is library of books available as are mentoring and formal leadership training programs
