Full Member
This category of membership is for all psychologists licensed in Hawai'i (clinical practice, academic, military, and those living out of state but licensed in Hawai'i). You qualify as a Full Member if you hold:
(1) a Doctorate in psychology or a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology and
(2) are licensed as a psychologist in the State of Hawai'i.
The included Advocacy & Legislative Surcharge is $150. This category of membership applies if you earn more than $2000 per year in professional activities related to psychology.
General Member
You qualify as a General Member if you are a psychologist not licensed in the State of Hawaii (apply as a Full Member if licensed in Hawaii) and hold:
(1) a Doctorate in psychology, or
(2) a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology.
Early Career Member - Years 0 and 1
For individuals who graduated with a doctorate in psychology within the last 4 years and have been in clinical practice between 0 and 1 year.
Early Career Member - Years 2 and 3
For individuals who graduated with a doctorate in psychology within the last 4 years and have been in clinical practice 2-3 years. The included Advocacy & Legislative Surcharge is $75.00.
Early Career Member - Years 4 and 5
For individuals who have been in clinical practice 4-5 years. The included Advocacy & Legislative Surcharge is $75.00.
Associate Member
You qualify as an Associate Member by holding a Masters or Doctoral Degree in an allied mental health field or a Masters in psychology or equivalent.Student Member
For individuals who are enrolled full-time in a post-baccalaureate degree program in psychology.Retired Member
You may qualify as a Retired member if you are fully retired (65 years or over).
