The Psychologically Healthy Workplace 

HPD Waipahu Weed and Seed program operates under a "Family first" philosophy as a guiding principle in the department. 

Unit members are allowed to exercise for the first hour of their shifts. 

Members frequently view the program as the best assignment they have ever had, and they have decided to remain despite being offered promotions to other departments and duties.
