Aloha Colleagues!
We are excited to invite you to spend two full days with us in our virtual online training on Self-Meaning Based Therapy (SMB-T). 16 APA CEs are included in the training
Build on, or recreate, your therapy practice with an approach to therapy that has been called “groundbreaking,” “transformative,” “innovative,” and “pioneering with great integrative reach!”
At the heart of Self-Meaning Based Therapy (SMB-T) is the uncovering and discovery of our unconscious core negative Self-Meaning (SM) and its powerful and pervasive influence on our personal and interpersonal lives. Developed in relationship with early primary caregivers, our SM remains unconscious throughout our lives, and is inaccessible through, and unamendable to, regular talk-therapy.
SMB-T allow patients to embark on an emancipatory project toward a newly realized psychological freedom from the self-created lie borne during childhood, enabling reconnection with their inherent creativity and natural design. Rather than manage the unconscious negative effects of the SM, SMB-T enables therapists to help patients permanently dismantle it, enabling them to experience their True Self.
Through our virtual online training, learning will come by way of an immersive experience of our SBM-T approach, and a bridging of this experience to therapeutic practice. An integrated model, SMB-T is grounded in psychoanalytic and humanistic theory as it also incorporates the effectiveness of bilateral stimulation and parts work to elicit profound change.
