The Sakura Center for Psychological Assessment and Therapy is looking for Clinical Psychologists licensed in the state of Hawaii who have interest and experience in psychological assessment and testing. The ideal candidate is someone who is excited about working with underserved populations, has strong writing abilities, and experienced working with and evaluating children. Opportunity for a small therapy caseload and/or supervision of practicum students is also available if desired. Full-time or part-time employment positions available. The office is located in Kapolei. Responsibilities include: intakes, scheduling, testing appointments, report writing, and feedback sessions.
Sakura Center for Psychological Assessment and Therapy is a small, young, but thriving practice looking to grow our team of providers. Drs. Dominique Bale and Janet Thomas are the owners and have been working together in the area of assessment for many years. We have a strong working relationship that provides the basis for a professional but relaxed and supportive working environment. Workplace culture fosters and encourages consultation and supervision among colleagues. Our practice specializes in conducting competent and comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments and providing compassionate therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Evaluations typically are related to ADHD, developmental disorders (autism spectrum disorder), learning disabilities, or other psychological/cognitive concerns. We are willing to provide training related to our assessment practices. We provide a steady testing caseload, scheduling, billing, access to a secure online EHR system, up-to-date assessment equipment and measures, furnished office space, and assistance with insurance credentialing.
