Therapy group forming

After successfully facilitating a men's group for the past 14 years, I am thrilled to announce the launch of a new therapy group that will bring together four women and four men. This mixed-gender group will provide an opportunity for diverse perspectives, shared experiences, and collective growth.

Here are the details of the therapy group:
Duration: 10 weeks, starting from Monday, April 29, 2024 at 7:00pm to Monday July1, 2024
Sessions: Weekly, each session lasting 90 minutes
    End Date: April 8th, 2024

Group therapy offers numerous benefits that can have a profound impact on personal growth and emotional well-being. Some key advantages of participating in a therapy group include:

    1. Supportive Environment: The group setting provides a safe and confidential space where you can express yourself freely, knowing that you are surrounded by empathetic individuals who are on a similar journey.
    2. Shared Experiences: Interacting with others who have faced similar challenges can help you gain new insights, perspectives, and coping strategies. You will realize you are not alone in your struggles and can learn from each other's experiences.

    3. Increased Self-Awareness: Group therapy encourages self-reflection and introspection by offering opportunities for self-expression and receiving feedback from others. Through this process, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, and your patterns of behavior.

    4. Social Support and Connection: Building connections with like-minded individuals can combat feelings of isolation and loneliness. The group dynamic fosters a sense of belonging, camaraderie, and mutual support, which can be immensely comforting and empowering.

    5. Enhanced Communication Skills: Engaging in group discussions and practicing active listening can help you develop effective communication skills. You will learn to express yourself assertively, listen attentively, and provide constructive feedback, which can benefit your relationships outside of the group as well.
Please note that participation in this therapy group is limited to four women and four men (not couples) to maintain a cohesive environment. If you are interested in joining this group, kindly RSVP by April 15, 2024 to secure your spot.

    Aloha, Steve
