A joint effort between University of Hawai'i Center for Disability Studies and Chaminade University of Honolulu, the BBHA study is funded by an NIH/NIGMS grant (PIKO, 2024). We are asking caregivers of children diagnosed within the past 5 years (2019) or suspected of having ASD to complete a few questionnaires about their experiences seeking services (diagnostic and treatment) for their child. The study takes between 30 and 60 minutes and we will meet with participants in their communities. We give $40 Longs giftcards to participants as a "thank you."
